Ace Telugu actor Balakrishna, Prabhu and Deeksha Seth and other popular stars of Tamil film industry also are starring on this film that's being produced in Tamil and Telugu.

Lakshmi Manchu who's the daughter of the actor and director Mohan Babu is producing this film. Director P Vasu, producer T Rama Rao, actress Prabha and actor Simbhu participated within the poster release function.

Simbhu is meant to be an in depth friend of Manoj. Balakrishna came exclusively to take part on this function. It was surprising for lots of because Balakrishna spoke in Tamil. Speaking in this occasion, he said," My father NTR used to say, "Tamil Nadu only made be grow up. I drank the water of Tamil Nadu and grew up. I don’t know what I'LL do for Tamil Nadu." Now we're giving water to Tamil Nadu. When the film was started Mohan Babu said that it'd be very costly but his children said that it's enough if we make a fair film and produced it. They didn't produce this film to generate income. They made this film in an even manner."

The screenplay of Varuvan Thalaivan relates to present period and historical period. So that they had erected a gargantuan palace set called Gandharvakottai at a price of Rs 6 Crores. They'd shot the erecting of the palace set which was screened for the guests and media people

Apart from producing this film Lakshmi Manchu, she may be donning a very powerful role on this film. Prabhu, Suhasini Manirathnam, Charlie, Ilavarasu and Manobala also are starring on this film.
