Jesus Christ 3D film in 9 languages

For the primary time within the history of cinema, a movie on Lord Jesus Christ is to be made in 3D format. The film is to be produced in nine languages including Tamil, Malayalam and English. This film is titled Muppathu Vellikkasu in Tamil.

In English it's titled Thirty Pieces of Silver. The film that's being produced at a price of Rs 35 Crores is to be released in 5000 theatres inside the world. Director Kurien Varanasala is directing this film.

The director has held many discussions with the experts of bible before finalizing the script that's in accordance with the brand new Testament. The shooting of the film will commence over the past week of July.

The shooting of this film is to happen in Jerusalem, Hampi, and Ramoji Rao Film City at Hyderabad. The crucifixion sequences are to be shot in Hampi located in Karnataka. A BRAND NEW face will don the role of Jesus Christ and his 12 disciples can be new faces. With the exception of them 300 people can be acting on this film. 50 among them could be from Kerala. The film is to be launched in Cochin on 5th June with the blessings of 35 bishops of Catholic churches.
