Popular music composer M S Viswanathan’s wife passes away

The famous Tamil film music composer M S Viswanathan’s wife Janaki who was ill for a very long time kicked the bucket yesterday at a personal nursing home. She was aged 73. For the last two years, Janaki was affected by kidney problems.

She was undergoing treatment for a similar. She was treated in her home. Two months back her medical conditions worsened. For this reason she was admitted within the Miot Hospital at Ramapuram in Chennai for treatment.

Her husband M S Viswanathan and other members of the family were taking good care of her within the hospital. All of the music composers including Ilayaraja were to the hospital to investigate about her health. Regardless of intensive treatment she couldn't be saved. She gave up the ghost at 4.15 pm yesterday.

Her body was taken to Santhome residence at 6 pm. Floral tribute was paid on behalf of South Indian Films Music Composers Association. Important members of the film fraternity also paid floral tributes. Janaki has four sons and 3 daughters. The cremation happened at 12 noon within the Beasant Nagar crematorium.
