The super hit Hindi film Kahaani is to be remade in Tamil and Telugu. There has been a heavy reception for this film which had Vidya Balan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Parambrata and Abir Chatterjee within the cast. This film was directed by Sujoy Ghosh. There has been significance for the heroine’s role on this film.

The acting of Vidya Balan was much spoken about. This thriller film is being remade in Tamil and Telugu languages. The famous TV production company Endemol India has acquired its remake rights. The shooting of this film will commence from the month of September. The Tamil and Telugu versions will hit the screen throughout the month of January 2013.
The production home is currently holding talks with some leading southern actors for the lead role within the Kahaani remake.
