Malayalam actor Prithviraj has acted in lots of Tamil films including Mozhi, Satham Podathey and Ninaithale Inikkum. He became a producer and produced a movie titled Urumi which was directed by ace cinematographer Santosh Sivan.

This film was released in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi and Telugu languages. He's again producing a Malayalam film. He has also planned to direct this film. Prithviraj is currently acting in a Hindi film directed by Anurag Kashyap. It was also mentioned that he's going to be directing a Hindi film but Prithviraj has denied this news.
He said," Once I became a producer, I BEGAN producing Malayalam films. The primary film that I'LL BE directing can also be a Malayalam film. I'M doing loads of research to choose an excellent story but I CANNOT direct a movie immediately. I CAN direct after completing the movies that i'm currently acting. I'VE also an concept of directing a Hindi film. This may happen in future."
