Director S P Jananathan goes to direct a movie with a purpose to have Jayam Ravi and Jeeva within the cast. S P Jananathan had got the National Award for steering the film Iyarkai which had Sham and Arun Vijay within the cast.

Because of the interest he had for the society, he became a director. He had dealt social issues within the films Peranmai and Ee. It's unforgettable that either one of the flicks were an excellent success on the box office.

While chatting with the media, he has mentioned that he's busy penning the screenplay for the film Boologam. When asked him that whether he's going to continue to direct films associated with the society, he said," I'VE decided to direct a brand new film on the way to have Jeeva and Jayam Ravi within the cast. This film may be in line with the social issues."
