Though Ajith starrer Billa 2 didn't do well on the box office, the climax helicopter fighting sequences featuring Ajith was a great deal revered by the audience.

Ajith greatly liked the exertions of the stunt choreographer Stephen Richter who structured the helicopter stunts in Billa 2 and due to this he has given opportunity for him to work within the film which he has donned the lead role.
This film is being directed by Vishnuvardhan. A number of efforts are being taken to have exemplary fighting sequences on this film. Nayanthara, Arya, Tapsee and Raana are sharing the screen with Ajith. Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing music for this film.
