Music composer Vijay Anthony has debuted as hero throughout the film Naan. Rupa Manjari is donning the feminine lead role. Siddarth who had acted in Anandha Thandavam and Anuya may be starring on this film. Jeeva Shankar has directed this film.

The audio CD of Naan was released recently in Chennai. Vijay while chatting with the media in this occasion said, "TO THIS POINT I'VE composed music for 25 films. I USED TO BE involved in acting. This have been fulfilled throughout the film Naan.

When I DETERMINED to become an actor, a lot of people approached me with their stories but they all were associated with music. Those stories were very similar to the yester year super hit films like Thillana Mohanambal. But I USED TO BE not for those kid of news. I agreed to behave in Naan because I USED TO BE satisfied with the tale.

There is not any chemistry between the heroine Rupa and me. She used to name me Anna (brother). This film materialized only as a result of my wife Fatima. Only the circumstances decide for an individual to be good. What happens to an individual if the circumstances decide otherwise is the tale of Naan. The songs of Naan have pop out really well".
