As far as India concerned there are negative criticisms about Billa 2. There's information that this film didn't do well like Ajith’s earlier film Mankatha and in some places it didn't collect even Rs 1 Crore.
As far as Malaysia is anxious Billa 2 has yielded good profits.
As per the official announcement, Billa 2 has done really well on the box office. The film Nanban which had Vijay within the lead role was released this year had collected Rs 4.86 Crores whereas Billa 2 has collected Rs 5 Crores in 20 days. Billa 2 has pushed back Nanban in Malaysia.
