This film may even have political shade just like the films Gentleman, Indian and Mudalvan directed by Shankar. Surya who had earlier given dates to Hari has now given these kind of dates to Shankar.
Suresh and Bala have completed the dialogue portions for this film. The pre-production work of this film was completed and Shankar is looking ahead to Surya to commence the shooting. Initially Shankar was speculated to cast Vikram within the lead role but he has selected Surya taking into the account of Tamil and Telugu markets.
