He had announced that he'll be directing a movie titled Vada Chennai in an effort to have Simbhu within the lead role. Cloud Nine Movies came forward to supply this film.
Simbhu who's currently concentrating in Poda Podi and Vettai Mannan has not mentioned that once he'll be ready for Vada Chennai. At this juncture Vetrimaaran has postponed Vada Chennai and goes to direct a movie in an effort to have Dhanush within the lead role.All the crew members of Aadukalam including Vetrimaaran, G V Prakash, Velraj and editor Kishore could be working on this film. Vetrimaaran has mentioned that the shooting of Vada Chennai have been postponed but Simbhu could be within the lead role.
