Rajnikanth to catch up on the failure of three in Telugu

3 is the recently released film which has Dhanush and Shruthi Haasan within the lead roles. There has been great expectations for this film since Aishwarya Dhanush had directed this film.

 This film was not a really perfect success on the box office despite the recognition of Kolaveri song, Kamal Haasan’s daughter Shruthi’s acting and Rajnikanth’s daughter Aishwarya directing. Producer Natty Kumar who had acquired the Telugu rights of this film incurred a heavy loss.

He said, "Dhanush’s market in Telugu is Rs 10 Lakhs but I acquired the rights of this film for Rs 4.3 Crores keeping in mind that that is Rajnikanth’s family film and the recognition of Kolaveri song. A lot of my friends warned me to not acquire this film on the price.

When the film Kuselan film flopped, Rajni came forward to compensate the losses incurred by the distributors. Now Rajni has contacted Natty Kumar and has mentioned that he'll compensate the losses he incurred by releasing the film 3.
