After a few years Sundar C has directed a movie titled Kalakalappu @Masala Cafe. Vimal, Mirchi Shiva, Santhanam, Anjali and Oviya have starred on this film. Vijay Ebenezer who enthralled the folk together with his music within the film Kandein has composed music for this film.

Kushboo’s Avni Cinemax has produced this film in association with UTV Films. Kalakalappu @ Masala Cafe is Sundar C’s 25th film. All of the work connected with this film was over.
The film was sent to Censor Board for certification. The members who saw this film gave a U certificate. UTV Movies has announced that this film will hit the screens on 11th May. There are many expectations for this Kalakalappu @ Masala Cafe since Sundar C has directed a movie after an extended time.
