The shooting of the film Kochadaiyaan which has Rajni within the lead role is happening in top gear. The forged and crew of Kochadaiyaan has returned from London after completing the primary schedule of shooting.

The next schedule of shooting is happening in Kerala. Rajnikanth and Deepika Padukone is participating on this shooting. Sarathkumar, Shobana, Nasar and Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff also are starring on this film. Rajni’s daughter Soundarya is directing this film.
Director K S Ravikumar is supervising the direction. Rajni had earlier announced that Kochadaiyaan may be released for Deepavali however the production house as announced that the film might be released in September itself and due to this Rajni fans became cheerful. With the exception of Tamil, this film could also be being released in Telugu, Hindi and English languages. Since Rajni has fans in Japan, the film may be being dubbed in Japanese language to be released there.
