Director Selvaraghavan says that he's going to not return after the busy stars. After Mayakkam Enna, Selvaraghavan is directing a movie titled Erandam Ulagam. Arya and Anushka are within the lead roles on this film. The shooting of this film happened in Goa for 15 days.

 The shooting was purported to happen for a month’s time however it was stalled as a result of FEFSI problems. For this reason the solid and crew returned to Chennai.

Director Selvaraghavan while speaking about this film said, "Arya and Anushka are donning dual roles on this film. Radhika and Y Gee Mahendran also are acting on this film. There is not any problem within the shooting because Arya and Anushka are professional actors. Either one of them don't interfere in any matters. 35% shooting of this film is over.

Except these two leading actors, I DIDN'T select any of the busy actors. Before commencing the shooting of this film Sivakarthikeyan was not busy but now he's busy and due to this, he's not acting on this film. All are new faces except the hero and heroine. I WILL BE ABLE TO never go in the back of busy actors."
