When Rajni was ill, Amitabh was in continuous contact along with his members of the family and enquired about his medical conditions. When Amitabh Bachchan underwent a stomach surgery, Rajni rushed to Mumbai and met him.
Two days earlier Amitabh was in Chennai in reference to the IPL match inauguration. He was staying in a five star hotel. Rajni were to the hotel to satisfy Amitabh. Either one of them were conversing for very long time and enquired about each other’s health. Amitabh while speaking said, "Rajni had come to my hotel room and met me. He's keeping good health. I'M more than happy as a result of my meeting with Rajnikanth."
