Karthika while speaking about her roles in these films said, "I'M currently acting within the Tamil film Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum directed by ace director Bharathiraja and within the Telugu film titled Dhammu.

I am donning the role of a village girl in Bharathiraja’s film while within the Telugu film I'M donning the role of a ultra glamorous girl.

It is a challenging matter to behave in these contrast roles jointly. Nobody gets this sort of opportunity. I THINK that i'm lucky in getting this chance.

In film Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum I'M donning the role of a lady called Annakodi. I'VE donned four more or less roles right from infancy phase to old woman. To inform the reality I'VE lived the role of Annakodi."
