Actress Pooja made her debut as heroine in the course of the Tamil film Jay Jay. She continued to behave in films like Attahasam, Ullam Ketkumae, Jithan and Pattiyal.

The last Tamil film she had acted was Naan Kadavul directed by Bala. She donned the role of a blind beggar girl and earned laurels for her wonderful acting. This film bagged numerous awards.

After this film, Pooja didn't accept any Tamil films. Now at this point of time, she is showing interest in Tamil films. She is making her re-entry during the Tamil film directed by Bala.

Adharva is donning the lead role while Pooja is donning the most important role on this film. Except this she is going to even be pairing with Arulnidhi in a movie to be produced by Dayanidhi Azhagiri.
