Similarly Murattu Kaalai was remade and Sundar C donned the lead role. Now essentially the most famous film of Rajni titled Thillu Mullu is to be remade in Tamil.

Many producers were seeking to acquire the remake rights of this film. Thillu Mullu is a movie which had Rajnikanth within the lead role.

Rajni donned two getups on this film. In a single getup Rajni could have moustache and in another getup he's going to not have a moustache on this comical film. This film was directed by K Balachandar.

Vendhar Films has now acquired the remake rights of this film. Shiva who had rocked in comedy within the films Chennai 28, Tamil Padam and Kalakalappu will don the role which Rajni donned within the original version.
