The shooting of Alex Pandian which has Anushka within the lead role is occurring in top gear. Anushka is pairing with Karthi on this film. It was decided to finish the shooting of this film before 10th of next month. The film is to be released on 12th October.

At this point of time, Anushka may be very busy shooting for Erandam Ulagam at Georgia. This film is being directed by Selvaraghavan. It's expected that Anushka will take part in the shooting of Alex Pandian after completing the shooting of Erandam Ulagam in Georgia. So the crew has decided to shoot the opposite sequences on the way to not feature Anushka. Sequences bearing on her might be shot once she is out there.
