There was a view that this film was a flop and at the other side, there have been news that Saguni is doing brisk business.Karthi had already announced that the film is doing well at box office in all of the areas and the distributors are yielding good profits.
When asked Karthi whether Saguni is a flop film, he said, "Saguni is a movie in keeping with the existing political situation. People have received it well. I CAN'T agree that Saguni is a flop film. It has yielded good profits. Maybe it might not have satisfied some people’s expectations. They're those who're speaking in contrast film. Commercially Saguni is a success."
