The scoop was officially confirmed by Jayaram as he utters, "Yes, it’s true that I'VE signed A.R. Murugadoss’ project and that i could be playing crucial character on this movie. I chose this role merely as it interested me so much".
When asked whether he'll be playing negative role on this movie, he came up with an instant reply saying, "If I had played negative roles in Saroja and Dhaam Dhoom, it doesn’t mean I MIGHT continue to accomplish same characterization over and again."
