Shankar speaks about his next

The film Nanban was directed by Shankar. Nanban had Vijay, Jeeva, Srikanth and Sathyaraj within the cast and turned out to be an excellent success on the box office.

There were various news about which film can be Shankar directing next. There has been also news that Shankar could be directing Kamal in Tamil, Prabhas in Telugu and Mohanlal in Malayalam. It was also mentioned that Hollywood super hero Jackie Chan might be donning a guest role on this film.

Kodambakkam sources added that this film would be the costliest film ever produced in India and it's to be produced by Aascar Ravichandran.

But Shankar has denied some of these news. Shankar while speaking about this said, "I'M thankful to 1 and all who made Nanban a really perfect success. I'M also thankful to the entire media individuals who have given their support to make this film a really perfect success. I'M readying the tale for my next film. I HAVEN'T signed anyone for my next film."
