Plans of sequel to ‘Baashha’ are on

Rajnikanth has acted with reference to 135 films plus but ‘Basha’ was one of the vital famous and favourite movies for Super Star Rajnikanth and his fans. It was directed by Suresh Krishna, who has earlier directed movies like ‘Annamalai’, ‘Veera’, ‘Sathya’, ‘Baba’, ‘Aalavandan’, ‘Gajendra’ etc.

‘Basha’ was remade in Sandalwood within the name ‘Kotigobba’ with Vishnuvardhan within the lead role which turned out to be a great hit film. Now, there are plans to make a sequel to that movie.

The sequel to ‘Basha’ is to be made in Sandalwood could have Sudeep within the lead role. On enquiring about this, Suresh confirmed that, "Yes there are plans for a sequel. But talks are still in preliminary stage’.

As of now, Suresh Krishna is serious about the shooting of a Kannada 3 D movie called film ‘Kotari Veera Sura Sundarangi’. This venture features Upendra and Divya Spandana (‘Kuthu’ Ramya).
