Director Radha Mohan happens to be an in depth friend of Prakash Raj. Now Prakash Raj is producing a movie titled Gouravam in Tamil and Telugu under the banner Duet Movies but there's a great confusion that who would be the hero and heroine of this film.
Initially it was announced that Naga Chaitnya and Varalaskhmi Sarath Kumar will don the lead roles but either one of them quit this film. Now Allu Sirish and Yami Gautam was signed for this film. This was confirmed by producer Prakash Raj. Yami Gowtham is widely known since the actor has acted within the super hit Hindi film Vicki Donor.
