It was announced that probably the most expected film Billa 2 will hit the screens on 13th July. Billa 2 has Ajith, Parvathy Omanakuttan and Bruna Abdullah within the cast and was directed by Chakri Toleti.

Sunir Kheterpal who's the producer of this film said, "Billa 2 is being released worldwide in 1200 theatres on 13th July. We've got made arrangements for an elaborate function within the first week of July.
We will release the primary Look of Billa 2 in this function. This function will happen either on 1st or 2nd July. After this we will be able to commence the promo work of this film. Billa 2 is simultaneously being released in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra, Kerala and overseas. This film in Andhra is being released with the title David Billa-The Beginning. Billa 2 that's being released in Malaysia and France can have the sub title of their respective languages."
