This film is to be directed by Shankar’s assistant Atlee. Arya and Nayanthara had earlier paired in a movie titled Boss Engira Baskaran.

This film turned out to be super hit. After this she had acted in a Telugu film titled Sri Rama Rajyam. She donned the role of Seetha.

After this she quit acting on account of her relationship with Prabhu Deva. Marriage arrangements were also being made. She who was a Christian embraced Hinduism for the sake of Prabhu Deva.

Prabhu Deva started postponing the wedding and due to this there has been difference of opinion between the 2. Afterward either one of them parted ways. Now she is taken up acting again.

Nayanthara is currently acting in two Telugu films which has Gopi Chand within the lead role. She may be pairing with Nagarjuna in a Telugu film.

After completing these films, she's going to be pairing with Ajith in a movie to be directed by Vishnuvardhan. Once she completes this film, she's going to be pairing with Arya.

There are rumours that Arya and Nayanthara are very intimate. Nayanthara had cut the cake through the recent house warming ceremony of Arya. This created a really perfect sensation in Kollywood.
