Thuppakki title banned

The Court has banned the title of the film Thuppakki which has Vijay within the lead role.

The explanation for the ban is that Ravi Devan has registered the title Kalla Thuppakki within the year 2009.

At this juncture, director A R Murugadoss has registered Thuppakki because the title of his film which has Vijay within the lead role.

Moreover Ravi Devan claims that logo of his title is identical to the title of A R Murugadoss’s film. The Kalla Thuppakki crew made a complaint regarding this to the Producers Council but in vain.

Since they didn't get justice there, they've approached the Court. The Judge who enquired into this matter has banned this title.
