Gowtham Menon is currently directing Nee Thane E Pon Vasantham and after this there has been news that he's going to be directing a movie on the way to have Surya within the lead role. It's understood that Surya who's currently acting in Singam 2 directed by Hari has allocated dates to director Lingusamy.
So it was not known that which actor’s film will Gowtham Menon direct. At this juncture, Gowtham Menon and Simbhu has met in person and spoken. Earlier there has been also news that Simbhu might be acting within the Part 2 of Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya directed by Gowtham Menon. Gowtham Menon doesn't wish to direct romantic films like Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya and Nee Thane En Pon Vasantham at this point of time. So he has readied an action story that might suit Simbhu.
