This film is being directed by his daughter Soundarya. The shooting of this film was completed and the post production works are happening. The film is to be released soon.

After this, Rajnikanth is on the brink of act in a brand new film. It's understood that Rajnikanth has selected Manirathnam to direct his film. Manirathnam had earlier directed Rajni within the film Thalapathi. This film was an excellent hit.
