So far, Dhanush hasn’t been part of any multi-starrer films, but against this Jiiva has already completed nearly half dozen of such films. It began with KO, Vandhaan Vendraan, Nanban and upcoming film David with Vikram and untitled film directed by SP Jananathan with a view to have him alongside Jeyam Ravi.

The latest news is that Jiiva was approached to don the opposite lead role within the Tamil version of Dhanush-Sonam Kapoor Starrer Raanjhnaa.
The bilingual film is directed by Anand L Rai and the foremost portions of Hindi version was already shot. While Abhay Deol plays the opposite lead role in Hindi, the makers were reported of bordering on Jiiva to soak up that role.Jiiva confirms the scoop saying, it’s true that the director has approached him for the role, but will join up dotted lines only after hearing the script. An extra attraction of the film would be the musical score of A.R. Rahman.
