Agni Natchathiram remake to have Prabhu-Karthik sons

Often we don’t see such scenarios happening in Tamil film industry. Manirathnam’s yesteryear mega-hit movie ‘Agni Natchathiram’ had Prabhu and Karthi in lead roles. Now, producer Ramesh, maker of films like ‘Osthe’ has reportedly approached to reprise their fathers’ role on this remake that may be directed by Dharani.

When approached the closer sources, it was mentioned that the film will go on floors in December because the makers wish to start the shooting only after the discharge of Manirathnam’s ‘Kadal’ that marks the debut of Karthik’s son Gautham. The official confirmations may be made only after the producer has acquired the remake rights.
